First out of the stalls in our preview is Zivaniya, a 5-year-old gelding trained by H. Palmer, due to race at Kempton over a distance of 1m 7f 218y, with the going described as Standard to Slow on the all-weather track. Zivaniya is lining up at a value live price of 4.5, according to today's betting. Looking at his form, while there aren't any wins in the last 180 days, he's had quite a few outings over similar distances, with the highest recent race rating hitting 62. He's also shown some potential at this course before, so it's worth keeping an eye on him. His jockey, Liam Wright, hasn't broken into the winner's enclosure in the last 14 days but has been seen often enough at this track to know his way around. Next up, we have Super Superjack at a far longer price of 23. This 8-year-old is under the guidance of S. Hodgson with jockey Alfie Redman in the saddle. Despite his experience, his recent form hasn't provided any fireworks, and the absence of wins in the last 720 days suggests it might be a tough ask today. However, he has a decent rating of 68, which theoretically places him well among the competition. Lastly, don't overlook Green Team who, riding at a very competitive price of 3.5, certainly has a shot. This 6-year-old gelding, piloted by Jack Dace and trained by Ian Williams, has demonstrated better recent form than many, with two wins from six starts in the last 180 days. His highest winning rating lately was 67, which suggests he is quite consistent at or near this level. The jockey’s recent strike rate and familiarity with the course can only add to his chances.
