Kamikaz Du Plessis at Wexford 20:30 tips, betting and prediction

Heading to Wexford for a lively 2m 4f race on a track described as Good-good to yielding in places, the spotlight is firmly on Kamikaz Du Plessis. Despite the 5-year-old gelding's somewhat reserved name, its no-show in recent racing forms does cause a bit of a head-scratch. However, with G Elliott holding the reins as the trainer, one might ponder if an upset could be on the cards, given Elliott's respectable 15 wins in the last 30 days. Although, with no races recorded recently under this hoof, Kamikaz will really need to pull something miraculous out of the bag on race day. Woodie Campelltown, another 5-year-old gelding, is steered by Mr P W Mullins and trained by Rosemary Connors. With odds floating around the cosy figure of 10, he's pegged as a promising contender. Although like the predicted winner, Woodie’s form is also sparse, offering no recent races to gauge his current capability. The duo of Mullins and Connors, however, does hold some allure, potentially providing a boost on race day. Kildinan Prince could be the dark horse of this event. At age 6 and a comfy price hovering around 5, he's had one recent race under his belt, although it didn't end with a win. Trained by Jonathan Sweeney and ridden by Mr A P Ryan, who has an interesting recent win, this combo could be surprising if the stars align on the track. Peeking at the rest of the field, one can't ignore Portnablagh, tagged with a wildly long shot price of 81. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, a tiny flutter on this outsider might just shock everyone, but then again, it's a long long shot! As for Kamikaz Du Plessis, he's our golden boy for this event. Get your bets in and remember, every race is a gamble, but some horses just make it a bit more thrilling.
