First up we have the two-year-old filly Composing, set to compete in the 'Race 1 Tally Ho Stud Irish European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden' at the Curragh, over a distance of 6 furlongs. She's beginner luck embodied, with no races under her belt in the last 30 days, making her a mystery wrapped in an enigma, ridden by W M Lordan and trained by A P O'Brien. Historically, her trainer has had a decent strike rate over the last 30 days, winning 30 out of 75 races, showing a prowess that hopefully translates well for our filly Composing. At a live_price of 12, she's a longer shot but might just have the A P O'Brien magic needed to make quite the debut. Next, Beautify, another two-year-old from the A P O'Brien stable, boasts similar unseen potential. With R L Moore, a seasoned jockey, in the saddle, she comes in at a live_price of 3.75, which lands her just in that value spot not too short that it's not worth it, and not too long that it’s a wild punt. No race data to speak of, but given the combo of O’Brien and Moore, expectations will be high. Amerilis is our third horse, priced at a value 7.5 and trained by P Twomey with W J Lee as the jockey. Our star bet for this race would be on Composing. Despite being light on experience, the backing of a heavyweight trainer and a reputable jockey could hint at an impressive introduction to racing.
